NCCO International Introduces New Product Lines to Improve Food Safety, Allergen Labelling and Customer Satisfaction at Hotelympia

Date Code Genie is an automated labelling system that produces food prep labels as well as nutritional labels that include ingredients and logos. NCCO will also be launching a new collection of Order Pads designed to help improve customer satisfaction.

Date Code Genie

The interface can be fully customized with exact items, terms and ingredients for each individual kitchen. The system calculates “use by” dates and times, reducing food waste and human error, and can even create custom labels with individual notes. With the ability to print 60 labels per minute, labour costs decrease as well. No longer do kitchens have to adapt to a food labelling system; the Date Code Genie is the first ever system that adapts to any kitchen environment.
Allergen Alert System
The new allergen alert system offers both labels for identifying the 14 common allergens as well as an order pad that reminds staff to address and record patron’s allergen and dietary sensitivities. Available individually or as a set, labels can help any food business achieve compliance and best practice, ensuring accurate and efficient communication among staff. “Identifying and accurately labelling allergens is critical to patron’s health and safety,” Rose said. “Susan will have some great tips for setting up a successful system that meets the government requirements.”
Order Pads
“Order Pads are a critical tool for ensuring accuracy and ease when entering orders in the POS system,” Rose said. “This keeps the kitchen running smoothly.” Available in one-, two- and three-part pads, each pad is numbered to correspond to a specific server to help managers and owners keep track of order accuracy and payment. Additionally, some have tear-off stubs that can be used as a customer receipt. Rose said, “The pad can really simplify the ordering process and help decrease mistakes.”
