The custom-built theater, expected to be housed near Beijing, will seat 4,500 for a live show which will include shape-shifting robots, special effects, and music, along with aerial and acrobatic sequences. The “Transformers” movies have earned approximately $3.8 billion globally for its studio distributor, Paramount Pictures.
