Arimo Adds New SVP of Worldwide Sales
(PRWEB) February 03, 2016 -- Arimo, the company delivering collaborative, predictive intelligence for all in the enterprise, today announced the hiring of a new Senior Vice President to lead the company’s worldwide sales organization. Effective immediately, Rob Abbott will oversee all sales-related functions, including Global Sales, Pre-Sales Engineering and Channels activities at Arimo. Moving quickly, Mr. Abbott has already launched an initiative to build out the North American sales team by assembling a top regional and inside sales infrastructure including technical, channel and sales resources that will play an essential role in driving Arimo’s go to market efforts in 2016. Mr. Abbott reports to the CEO, Christopher Nguyen.

Mr. Abbott comes to Arimo with a proven track record of accelerating product sales. Prior to his position at Hortonworks, Mr. Abbott was responsible for Sales in the Central Region for VMWare Emerging Markets, where he architected, closed and managed some of VMWare's largest projects. Mr. Abbott has also held Sales and Management positions at Legato Systems, Interwoven, Filenet, and Savvion. Mr. Abbott graduated from the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona.
