Bob Dynko and Ed Haski Join Strategic Risk Associates; Firm Expands in North Carolina

Strategic Risk Associates, LLC (“SRA”), a national advisory and consulting firm specializing in banks and financial services, is proud to welcome North Carolina Bank Risk Professionals, Bob Dynko and Ed Haski, as Managing Directors of SRA. Dynko, a CIA and CISA, is an internal audit professional who brings deep experience helping banks in Internal Audit, Finance, and Regulatory Compliance and is Managing Director of Internal Audit. Haski is a long time credit executive expert in credit risk management, underwriting, and process improvements and is Managing Director of Credit.

“With their strong experience in risk management and location in Charlotte, Bob and Ed will be able to help banks and financial services companies address the risks emerging from today’s challenging economic and regulatory climates. In particular they will be able to help banks implement enterprise risk management and enhance internal controls and credit, which are top concerns of bank regulators. In addition, they will be able to assist with mergers and acquisitions and expand our product and service offerings to the banks we don’t currently serve in the Carolinas”, says Michael Glotz, Founding Partner at SRA.

With over 35 years of internal audit experience, Dynko has served financial services organizations in the development of effective risk-based internal audit programs that provide comprehensive coverage to risk management, internal control, regulatory compliance and corporate governance issues. In this charge, he has served as the Chief Audit Executive for an Upstate New York-based commercial bank holding company, a credit card issuer in Minnetonka, Minnesota and a Southern California-based mortgage company. Most recently, Dynko had served as a Director for two Charlotte-based consulting firms providing risk advisory services to financial institutions with assets of $90 million to $5 billion. His credentials include Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and he has attained the IIA Accreditation in Internal Audit Quality Assessment/Validation.    

With nearly 30 years of banking experience, Haski has served financial institutions in areas of Credit Risk Operations and Management, Loan Review, and Reserve and Capital methodologies. Haski has worked at a number of regional and large banks including Citibank, Morgan Stanley, Wells Fargo and Wachovia. As a Director at Citibank, Haski was responsible for Portfolio Management Strategies, Loan Loss Reserves, and Forecasting for Citi’s US Commercial Bank. As Executive Director at Morgan Stanley, Haski was a member of the Risk Leadership team responsible for the launch of Morgan Stanley’s Commercial Lending platform in Charlotte, North Carolina. Haski said, "It's an honor to join such a great team at SRA. They bring tremendous breadth and depth in all areas of financial institution management to the table. My background positions me well with SRA in helping banks solve their most pressing issues related to Credit and Enterprise Risk."
