Mediaplanet today announces distribution of its first ever “Human Trafficking” cross-platform campaign, which will focus on human trafficking as an issue that extends beyond developing nations.

The campaign focuses on a number of topics surrounding both sex and labor trafficking, and calls for swift advocacy and policy measures to enact change. Editorial features include inspirational survivor stories, policy changes needed to combat sex trafficking surrounding the Super Bowl, supply chain transparency, human trafficking in the Los Angeles area and many others.

Human Trafficking is a print and online campaign, distributed within this Saturday’s edition of the LA Times, with a circulation of approximately 455,000 copies and an estimated readership of 1.4 million. The print component will also be featured at the upcoming Innocents at Risk 10th Anniversary Gala on April 19, 2016, at the Organization of American States.

The digital component is distributed nationally, through a vast social media strategy, and across a network of top news sites and partner outlets.
