The First Annual Asheville Gastrointestinal Malignancies Symposium will be held April 16, 2016 at the Renaissance Asheville Hotel in Asheville, North Carolina. The live CME/CE meeting will provide participants with expert insights from leading investigators in treatment selection and supportive care best practices for patients with colorectal cancer, hepatoceullular carcinoma, gastric cancer, pancreatic cancer, esophageal cancer, gastrointestinal stromal tumor, biliary tract cancers, and neuroendocrine tumors.

Medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, oncology advanced practitioners, oncology nurses, and other healthcare professionals involved in the treatment of patients with gastrointestinal cancers are invited to attend this live CME/CE meeting. Practitioners may earn up to 8.5 hours of participation for continuing medical education.

The faculty members for the live CME/CE meeting, who will present and help guide discussions, are: Dr. Philip Philip (Wayne State University School of Medicine), Dr. Andrew X.   •     Differentiate current and emerging efficacy and safety data on novel therapies for gastrointestinal malignancies
  •     Assess multidisciplinary approaches in treatment planning for patients with gastrointestinal malignancies; and
  •     Evaluate supportive care plans for patients with gastrointestinal malignancies.
