James Earl Jones Hosts an Upcoming "Behind The Scenes" Piece on Heart Disease for Public Television
(PRWEB) February 02, 2016 -- The heart is an important part of your everyone's health and well-being. Heart disease refers to the build up of plague or the hardening of arteries in the heart that contributes to a heart attack. Essentially, the blood vessels in the heart get blocked by the plague or cannot move through the heart due to the hardened arteries from plague build up, which results in a heart attack. The heart attack leads to more complicated health concerns, including the possibility of death or severe disabilities.
In an upcoming segment of "Behind The Scenes" with host James Earl Jones, viewers will learn about the risk factors that contribute to heart disease as well as the symptoms of the disorder. Consumers will also discover the underlying causes of the situation and ways to control heart disease when it develops. Since heart disease does not have a cure and is a chronic condition, individuals need to become aware of the possible risks to ensure that they have the tools to improve their health. It is particularly important to recognize that bypass surgery and other treatments do not eliminate or cure the disease; instead, they only improve the blood flow as a temporary treatment measure.
"Behind the Scenes" is not distributed by PBS, but is available on public television.
