Group Messaging Leader One Call Now Announces New Communities of Faith Grant

One Call Now has announced that they are offering communication grants to qualifying faith-based communities to provide notification services free of charge for two years.

“Churches have benefited from using our automated phone, text and email service to grow their congregations and make them stronger. We want every faith-based community to have a chance to spread the word and fulfill their mission.

One Call Now, America’s largest group notification provider, announced today the launch of its Communities of Faith Grants. The company is offering grants to six faith-based organizations that are in need of an automated messaging service to communicate messages via phone, text and email to their congregations.

The award includes two years of standard service usage, free account set-up and complete access to customer support, 24x7x365. Any organization that identifies as a ‘community of faith’ and is 501(c)3 exempt can apply for a grant. All applications will be reviewed and evaluated by an independent panel of judges. “We understand the challenges that faith-based organizations face in communicating quickly with their members,” says Lisa Eifert, Director of Marketing for One Call Now. “Churches around the country have really benefited from using our automated phone, text and email service to grow their congregations and make them stronger. We want every faith-based community to have a chance to spread the word and fulfill their mission.”

Thousands of churches already rely on One Call Now’s service to deliver voice, text and email messages for both emergency and routine purposes. Typical uses of group notification services include weather closings, prayer chains, event reminders and volunteer recruitments.

The application deadline is March 15, 2016. Grant recipients will be announced by April 1, 2016.
