Timothy Niles Routh, an accomplished storyteller and published author, has completed his new book “The Corn Juice Cabin”: an enlightening and special story of a childhood well spent and friendship found in the most unlikely of places.

Timothy enjoyed writing so thoroughly, he was inspired to write this book. “I had some old childhood memories and I began from there. From those precious memories came “The Corn Juice Cabin”. This book is fiction but some did start with an actual event in my childhood.”

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Timothy Niles Routh’s poignant tale begins with a true friendship that started at a very early age between two young children. Ella, an African American girl, and Timothy, a white boy enjoyed a bond that only children understand. As time passes by their friendship never weltered.

The story is set in the 1950’s, where times in the south did not favor an interracial friendship. As they play in the forest as children they find another unlikely friend. His name is Jessie, and he takes the children under his wing, and becomes a friend and mentor. Ella and Timothy learn so much from Uncle Jessie. Lessons and memories that last a lifetime help the friends to always be there for each other, even though their adult lives lead them in different directions.

Readers who wish to experience this inspiring work can purchase “The Corn Juice Cabin” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
