PowerSchool Group’s InfoSnap Online Registration to Improve Student Safety Standards for Tipp City Exempted Village Schools
Folsom, California (PRWEB) February 04, 2016 -- Tipp City Exempted Village Schools (OH) is replacing their paper-based student registration process with a customized and efficient online solution. The district selected PowerSchool Group’s InfoSnap online student registration to obtain cleaner data and improve their student safety standards. Seamless integration between the InfoSnap solution and Tipp City’s student information system (SIS), ProgressBook Suite, will result in accurate and up-to-date data by the first day of school.
“It became our mission to simplify the student registration process, not only for our families, but for our school staff as well. We’re eliminating multiple steps in this process, providing school administrators with the opportunity to collect student information before the first day of school in order to efficiently serve our community,” said Gary Pfister, Director of Services at Tipp City Exempted Village Schools.
The electronic format allows families who have more than one child in the district to ‘snap’ data from one student to another. SmartForm™ technology, an intuitive tool built into the solution, collects relevant data based on previously entered information or choices (grade, activities, medical history, etc.). The data submitted by families is reviewed, polished, and formatted to meet district policies and then delivered into ProgressBook Suite, resulting in up-to-date records on the first day of school.
“We vetted several companies in order to find a solution that best fits the need(s) of our schools. Once our building secretaries viewed a presentation of the InfoSnap solution, we stopped looking. It was a unanimous decision to move forward and we couldn’t be happier with the support we’re receiving,” notes Pfister. Online student registration will launch on February 24th for Tipp City families.
