March 3 WorkBoat Summit in Houston to Address Oil Prices and its Effect on the Rig and OSV Markets

One-day conference to focus on the price of oil, challenges and opportunities in a down market

WorkBoat brings its annual one-day OSV Summit back to Houston next month, with a timely focus on the price of oil and its effect the rig and offshore vessel markets, and how to operate in this challenging market. The OSV Outlook for 2016 and Beyond is open to OSV operators, marine engineers and naval architects, and other commercial marine industry professionals, will be held at the Westin Galleria Houston, on Thursday, March 3, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The offshore service vessel industry is feeling the effects from a depressed energy market. The WorkBoat OSV Summit will bring this issue to the forefront for an honest discussion between industry analysts, insiders and operators. Praveen Narra, an oilfield services and offshore drilling company analyst with Raymond James Financial Inc., will be our featured speaker in the morning. Narra will offer his insights and updates on the current state of the offshore market and how it will fare in the short and long term.

Other topics to be covered in the one-day Summit include, Offshore & OSV Market Outlook, Current Design Trends & Future Innovations, and Operating in a Challenging Environment.
