Rocketbook Wave Launches on Kickstarter - Blasts Handwritten Notes from Paper to the Cloud, and Like Magic, the Notebook Erases in the Microwave
Cambridge, MA (PRWEB) February 04, 2016 -- Rocketbook Wave, the notebook rewritten with a tech-twist, has launched its much anticipated Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign, raising more than $75,000 with over 1,500 backers in less than 24 hours.
After raising over $1-million dollars, from over 24-thousand backers with its initial crowdfunding success, Rocketbook Wave is back by popular demand, allowing more people everywhere to enjoy the pleasure of writing in a traditional paper and pen notebook, while digitizing notes to the cloud, using a smartphone app.
“People still write with paper and pen everyday, but they want the benefits of the cloud,” said Rocketbook co-founder Joe Lemay. “We've found a way to keep the traditional pen and paper notebook, but make it reusable and add technology that takes it to the next level. It’s the first of its kind.”
The Rocketbook Wave notebook contains smart pages which allow for easy organization in the cloud. At the bottom of each page are seven icons, like magic buttons, to help users assign notes to the place of their choice by using the Rocketbook Wave app.
It's ideal for the boardroom, classroom, art studio, home - any place where notes and drawings are used. Use a Pilot FriXion pen, which comes included, and the pages are sent to the cloud for digital storage and sharing. When the Rocketbook Wave is full, it’s easy to use microwave directions that allow you to erase with the push of a button. Users then have clear pages for new notes and ideas.
There are two Rocketbook Wave sizes to choose from. Standard edition which is 8.5 x 9.5 inches and the Executive edition 5.8 x 8.3 inches (14.73 x 21.08 cm)
Features include:
80 pages in each notebook

About the Rocketbook Wave
Technology has helped improve almost all aspects of life, but the notebook has remained virtually the same since it was first created. Thanks to Rocketbook Wave the classic notebook is getting a major upgrade. With technology and engineering backgrounds, company co-founders Joe Lemay and Jake Epstein always get their ideas on pen and paper. However, technology often creates friction for brainstorming. So they assembled a team to design technology that gets out of the way and helps save pages simply and securely. The RocketBook Wave, the notebook rewritten.
