Leading Couple Therapist Dr. Stan Tatkin Announces Retreats to Strengthen Relationships
Calabasas, CA (PRWEB) February 05, 2016 -- The PACT Institute's co-founders, Drs. Stan Tatkin, PsyD, MFT, and Tracey Boldemann-Tatkin, PhD, have announced four WIRED FOR LOVE and WIRED FOR RELATIONSHIP retreats, to be held in 2016. Like Dr. Stan Tatkin’s books Wired for Love and Wired for Dating, these retreats show participants how to create and maintain relationships that are “secure functioning”; that is, based on security, sensitivity, justice and fairness, and true mutuality. Participants learn how to become experts on each other, how to read each other’s faces, and how to fight effectively without damaging their relationship.
“Tracey and I embrace every opportunity we have to help people navigate relationship challenges and reach a better understanding of one another,” explained Dr. Tatkin. “We are committed to our mission to make secure-functioning relationships and couple bubbles the new norm.”
Wired for Relationship retreats are for individuals and couples seeking secure-functioning relationships. At Kripalu’s five-day Wired for Relationship retreat, set for March 20-24, participants will learn how to forge stronger, more fulfilling connections. The Tatkins offer a variety of techniques and exercises to help participants understand the biological underpinnings of attraction, screen a new partner, and move toward secure functioning and deeper commitment.
Wired for Love couple retreats are intended for partners to come together to explore new ways to strengthen relationships. Couples will be led though exercises designed to help them identify one another’s attachments styles, read body language and arousal states, and manage conflicts to build secure-functioning relationships.
The following retreats are scheduled for 2016:
• Wired for Relationship - March 20-24, Kripalu, Stockbridge, Massachusetts
• Wired for Love - May 1-7, Global Journeys, Sugar Beach Resort, Costa Rica
• Wired for Love - July 8-10, Omega, Rhinebeck, NY
• Wired for Love - September 16-18, Shambhala Mountain Center, Red Feather Lakes, CO
