myCNAjobs Launches CNA Scholarship Fund to Help Tackle Looming Caregiver Shortage
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) February 05, 2016 -- myCNAjobs announces the launch of the myCNAjobs CNA Scholarship Fund to help tackle the looming caregiver shortage. This year, myCNAjobs will donate $118,572 to send good people to good schools across the nation.
"Everyday, companies are struggling to recruit enough qualified caregivers to fill critical roles, says Brandi Kurtyka, Co-Founder and CEO of Chicago-based myCNAjobs. "CNAs are the lifeblood of the healthcare system and we need to bring more awareness to the profession to attract new talent."
The CNA Scholarship fund will provide scholarships to individuals seeking to learn more about caregiving as a profession and build a long-term career in the industry. The program gives the next generation of healthcare workers more access to free eduction and a vehicle to connect to jobs post graduation. To apply, there's a short online application.
"The world needs more amazing CNAs and it's extremely rewarding to play a small role in getting better care into the hands of those that need it," adds Kurtyka. "The initial scholarship fund stemmed from a personal experience and overall team mission to provide best-in-class care for our aging population. We're a Christian-based company and we're thrilled to have the privilege to connect those in need to new opportunities."
