Scripps Ranch Theatre Announces Latest Contest for Fans
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) February 08, 2016 -- With a successful end to Scripps Ranch Theatre’s second production of the season, The Heir Apparent, the theatre is in full swing with its current production - and offering another exciting opportunity to its patrons.
The Heir Apparent opened in November following a successful social media promotion that awarded lucky fan Rae Newman with two season tickets to Scripps Ranch Theatre’s, and dinner for two at La Bastide Bistro restaurant. Due to the success of the last giveaway, SRT will continue to promote its current season with new surprises for theatre-goers throughout San Diego.
“We are thrilled with the response to the Facebook promotions, and are excited to announce our next production. We have a great season lined up with some exciting prizes along the way,” said Jill Drexler, Artistic Director for Scripps Ranch Theatre.
The theatre’s current production is an American Classic,The Dark at the Top of the Stairs. Written by Pulitzer Prize winner, William Inge, the play has been nominated for 5 Tony Awards. Set in plain-spoken, mid-America in the 1920s, it is a tender but honest look at family life – the hopes, the trials, the love, the joys, the sorrows.
To promote the play, Scripps Ranch Theatre is holding another sweepstakes featuring tickets to the theatre for the remainder of the season. In addition, all participants will instantly win a special offer they can use on their next ticket purchase “We are happy to offer something for everyone who enters,” said Drexler.
