“Our new repair item registry is, by far, the largest repair database we have ever offered with our estimating platform and contains literally thousands of estimate line item selections some of our users have never seen in Simsol before.”
Orlando, FL (PRWEB) February 08, 2016
SIMSOL Software (Simultaneous Solutions, Inc.) announced the release of its next generation estimating platforms cost database. The new cost database named the “Simsol/Craftsman Complete Building Repair Registry” coincides with the software company’s release of its Version 7 of its estimating system for property insurance adjusters and restoration contractors.
The new building repair registry contains an enlarged and redesigned restoration cost database containing thousands of newly added construction materials and repair/restoration operations for the repair of damaged single and multifamily homes, commercial structures as well as mobile and manufactured housing.
The new repair registry contains over 12,500 materials with over 75,000 repair and restoration operations making it one of the restoration industry’s largest and most comprehensive estimate line item databases.
“Our new repair registry combines our three separate legacy residential, commercial and manufactured/mobile home databases into a single cohesive entity,” said John Postava, President of Simsol. “Our new repair item registry is, by far, the largest repair database we have ever offered with our estimating platform and contains literally thousands of estimate line item selections some of our users have never seen in Simsol before.”
Simsol’s building repair registry is powered by Craftsman® Publishing’s United States, U.S. Virgin Islands and Canadian area modification factoring system. This location factoring structure allows for localization of material costs, construction tradesmen and crew labor rates and equipment rental costs using three-digit zip and postal code data points. The Simsol Building Repair Registry is updated on a quarterly basis for daily property claims. In the event of a massive national catastrophe, the company releases additional price updates based on their research of local pricing in the affected areas.
The Simsol and Craftsman cost database partnership,” stated Dan Sutliff, Director of Claims Training at Simsol, “has been in place since 1995 and has successfully estimated and resolved millions of property claims for our clients.”
