The new cost database named the “Simsol/Craftsman Complete Building Repair Registry” coincides with the software company’s release of its Version 7 of its estimating system for property insurance adjusters and restoration contractors.
The new building repair registry contains an enlarged and redesigned restoration cost database containing thousands of newly added construction materials and repair/restoration operations for the repair of damaged single and multifamily homes, commercial structures as well as mobile and manufactured housing.
The new repair registry contains over 12,500 materials with over 75,000 repair and restoration operations making it one of the restoration industry’s largest and most comprehensive estimate line item databases.

This location factoring structure allows for localization of material costs, construction tradesmen and crew labor rates and equipment rental costs using three-digit zip and postal code data points. The Simsol Building Repair Registry is updated on a quarterly basis for daily property claims. In the event of a massive national catastrophe, the company releases additional price updates based on their research of local pricing in the affected areas.
