“As fans enjoy the big game in 360 degrees for the first time, we thought it was a perfect time to spread awareness of the Nikon KeyMission 360," Lisa Baxt, associate general manager communications, Nikon Inc.

For the first time ever, Sunday’s big game broadcast will feature 36 cameras working together to give viewers a 360-degree view of the action. Coming this spring, Nikon will give consumers the ability to capture and share a uniquely immersive perspective of their life and passions – with just one 360-degree camera, the Nikon KeyMission 360.

Whether it’s shooting the on-field heroics during the biggest night in sports, or the on-field heroics of a little league game, Nikon’s signature performance never changes. However, it does evolve – and that’s where the Nikon KeyMission 360 comes in. On Sunday, Nikon will tease the debut of its revolutionary camera with a lead generation campaign on Facebook. Via a Facebook post, users will be encouraged to sign up for the latest information about the KeyMission 360 and the Nikon Action category, which will be periodically released over the next few months.

“As fans enjoy the big game in 360 degrees for the first time, we thought it was a perfect time to spread awareness of the Nikon KeyMission 360 and drive registration,” said Lisa Baxt, associate general manager communications, Nikon Inc. “When Cramer-Krasselt, Nikon’s agency-of-record, presented us with this opportunity we jumped on it. Consumers need to know that the KeyMission 360 will allow them to share new perspectives and explore imagery like never before."

Launching in spring 2016, the Nikon KeyMission 360 is a rugged camera capable of recording true 360-degree video in 4K UHD. Dual lenses and image sensors produce a single immersive, ultra-high-definition video and still image. A terrific companion for a wide range of travel, sports or when an adventure takes a turn off the beaten path, the camera is designed to be easy to use and withstand the elements. Waterproof (approx. 100 ft./30m), and ready to stand up to dust, shock and low temperatures, the KeyMission 360 also features electronic Vibration Reduction (VR), enabled through applications during playback, that reduces the effects of camera shake to help produce sharp and crisp video quality.
