Full Agenda, Networking Events Announced for IOFM’s Accounts Payable & Procure-to-Pay Conference & Expo
Portland, ME (PRWEB) February 09, 2016 -- The Institute of Finance & Management (IOFM) announced its full agenda this week for the spring 2016 Accounts Payable & Procure-to-Pay Conference & Expo. The complete 3-day conference schedule is now available within the conference’s 8-page brochure, hitting the mail this week, and also on the conference website, http://www.iofm.com/conference-spring.
“Our goal this year is to offer more compelling content than ever before, and also to make our attendees feel at home while they’re with us at Disney,” said Brian Cuthbert, Executive Director of IOFM. “We truly feel we’ve put together a complete learning experience for professionals working in AP, P2P, or shared services. Attendees will leave with new professional connections, real-world solutions to implement back at the office, and a desire to instill positive change within their work environment.”
The AP & P2P Conference & Expo’s agenda features over 60 educational sessions divided among six concurrent conference tracks. Conference tracks are organized to offer multiple sessions on the following categories over the duration of the conference: p-cards, payments, best practices, working capital, AP & P2P automation, compliance, metrics & benchmarking, process & controls, Procure-to-Pay, shared services, and leadership.
Eight half-day workshops and three certification training classes kick off the conference on May 23, followed by one of the conference’s most popular features, the Peer-to-Peer Roundtables. The roundtables will segment the audience based on industry, ERP system, AP department size, P2P, or shared service environments. Attendees are encouraged throughout the event to network with others in a similar work environment for both educational sessions and after-hours activities.
In addition to the Peer-to-Peer roundtables, networking events at the conference include cocktail receptions on May 23 & 24, a certification celebration exclusively for IOFM certification holders on May 24, multiple networking breaks in the exhibit hall, and networking breakfasts and lunches.
The 2016 conference will wrap up with a long-standing AP & P2P Network membership feature coming to life: Ask the Experts Live. This concluding session will be audience-led, consisting of a five-person IOFM/AP & P2P Network expert panel, who will answer any financial operations questions brought forth by the audience.
Additionally, Accounts Payable Certification training classes will be offered post-conference on May 26.
