Probabilistic Risk Assessment Expert Wayne Schmidt Joins Certrec’s Office of Licensing and Compliance Team

Mr. Schmidt recently retired as a Senior Reactor Analysist (SRA) from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and has over 35 years of experience in the areas of compliance, maintenance, testing, inspection and regulation of commercial nuclear reactors. He has a high level of knowledge in the areas of the significance determination process, mitigation strategies for internal and external events and the reactor oversight process.
