International Field Of Junior Golfers Get Ready To Compete In Inaugural Dustin Johnson World Junior Golf Championship
Myrtle Beach, South Carolina (PRWEB) February 09, 2016 -- When an international field of some of the best junior golfers in the world tees it up on February 12 in Myrtle Beach, S.C. for the Dustin Johnson World Junior Golf Championship, the world will be watching. Backed by PGA TOUR player Dustin Johnson, one of the top 10 golfers in the world, the tournament will provide the young participants a TOUR-like experience and the chance to test themselves against other premier players.
Male and female players from across America — and from countries as far away as Scotland and China — will be competing at the Tournament Players Club of Myrtle Beach (TPC), one of 22 layouts managed by Founders Group International (FGI). FGI is a major player in the golf course industry and Myrtle Beach's leading golf management company.
The TPC is one of the elite layouts in FGI's stable of popular public courses. In the past, this TOUR-caliber course has hosted prestigious events like the Senior PGA TOUR Championship, and golf greats like Tom Watson, Gary Player, Lee Trevino, and Raymond Floyd have taken on its challenge. Today, it can be played by any golfer who has booked one of FGI's many golf packages.
Packages like the Prime Times Rewards Package start at just $219 for four rounds of golf. Golfers can choose from any of FGI's 22 courses where they'll experience manicured fairways, lush greens and customer service second to none. This is one sweet deal because it also includes a $100 Rewards Card that can be used at any participating course clubhouse for beer, lunch, and even golf apparel. It also includes a $15 Carrabba's restaurant dining certificate.
This spring there's no limit to the number of premier courses that can be bundled into a Rewards package. In addition to the renowned TPC, golfers can assemble a four-round package that includes the spectacular Grande Dunes Resort Club, set high on a bluff overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway. They can add in King's North, which Golf Digest named one of "America's 100 Greatest Public Courses.” Or, they can select International World Tour Golf Links, where 18 of the world's most renowned golf holes — including Amen Corner — are woven into a challenging course.
FGI is a co-sponsor, along with the Dustin Johnson Golf School, of this first Dustin Johnson World Junior Golf Championship, so FGI will be rolling out the red carpet for the young stars in February. And, when spring comes, FGI's 22 Myrtle Beach area courses will be rolling out the red carpet for visiting golfers who've booked package play with Myrtle Beach's premier golf company.
