Live Video Campus Will Teach Brands and Non-Profits How To Use Live Streaming Apps to Tell Their Story
Atlanta, Georgia (PRWEB) February 10, 2016 -- Live streaming video has taken the social media world by storm. It is the new way consumers are learning about the companies they do business with and the organizations they support. Live Video Campus is presenting a one-day intensive workshop March 2 to help companies, non-profit organizations and consumers learn about the array of new mobile live streaming video options and uses. The workshop will cover how to use live video for effective storytelling, as well as cover marketing, legal issues and technologies.
Registration is open now for the event at Atlanta Tech Village.
“Consumers want real time engagement with the brands that they love. Live video is adding that desired human touch that many brands are missing today,” said Cathy Hackl, co-founder of Live Video Campus. “We see some companies jumping in to use live video, while others have failed to realize that consumers are more likely to be loyal to brands that use.”
Mobile live streaming applications such as Periscope rose to prominence in 2015 and are now making a widespread impact on which companies win or lose in the competition for customers.
Atlanta employer Experian and other household names ranging from upscale automaker BMW to price-conscious retailer Kmart, to the world’s fastest growing sports organization, the UFC, have all used live streaming video to connect with their customers, consumers and fans.
Jon Burk, digital strategy specialist at Al Roker Entertainment/Roker Labs, will address the critical questions of how data impacts live streaming and who is delivering results with live streaming.
Kim Garst, called the First Lady of Periscope and a Top 10 Social Media Influencer by Forbes, will address how to create and deliver a profitable live streaming strategy.
Attorney Mitch Jackson will discuss potential legal issues when live streaming.
Other topics include:
How to tell engaging stories via live streaming video.
How to make live streaming a natural part of a company’s marketing and public relations programs.
A look behind the scenes to learn how the pros make live streaming look great.
“Including live streaming video in your marketing efforts is really not an option any more. It’s a requirement,” Hackl said.
Atlanta Tech Village is at 3423 Piedmont Rd NE.
