World Revival Church to Celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Smithton Outpouring
Kansas City, MO (PRWEB) February 11, 2016 -- Restore 2016 will celebrate 20 years since the historic Smithton Outpouring touched thousands from around the world. Register for day sessions at worldrevivalchurch.com. Evening services are free and open to the public.
On March 24, 1996 at 6:12 p.m., Pastor Steve Gray was struck by the power of God as he stepped into the doorway of Smithton Community Church. That was the beginning of the “Smithton Outpouring” or what Charisma magazine called “The Cornfield Revival.” In 2000, the Grays moved to Kansas City and founded World Revival Church, World Revival Network, World Revival School of Ministry, Libby Lane Academy and Libby Lane Preschool-Montessori. In 2008, a second wind of revival called the Kansas City Revival began that was aired for over three years live on the Daystar Television Network.
Dr. Michael L. Brown is the founder and president of FIRE School of Ministry in Concord, North Carolina, Director of the Coalition of Conscience, and host of the daily, nationally, syndicated talk radio show, the Line of Fire, as well as the host of the apologetics TV show, “Answering Your Toughest Questions,” which airs on the NRB TV network.
Join Pastors Steve and Kathy Gray, Dr. Michael Brown, Dustin Smith, Ben Woodward, Eric Thomason and others as we remember the past and press forward into a fresh encounter with God. One touch will change you forever.
