“At HelloSign, we are seeing a massive wave of adoption of our eSignature solution, both by businesses and developers. Having Whitney join us at this stage is critical to our growth and making our customers successful,” says Joseph Walla, CEO and Co-founder of HelloSign. “We will be able to leverage her leadership skills and experience in growing companies from small to post-IPO (something she’s done more than once). Better yet, Whitney is a perfect culture fit for HelloSign, which is very important to us. That and her key role in scaling Box — also a B2B, SaaS product that rapidly moved up market thanks to her leadership— made Whitney the right choice for us. We’re all thrilled to work with her.”
“HelloSign stood out in my search for many reasons — it’s a growing and ambitious company with a product that is disrupting the market, has an incredible management team, and a strong focus on people and culture,” said Whitney Bouck, new COO of HelloSign. “I’m excited to be part of the team, and to help HelloSign become a leading enterprise SaaS company.”
Prior to joining HelloSign, Whitney ran the global marketing organization at Box, overseeing all product marketing, CIO relations, customer acquisition, analyst relations and communication programs. Before taking over marketing, she’s well-known for building Box’s Enterprise business from the ground up, helping pivot the company from being an SMB-oriented product. Before Box, Whitney spent 15 years with Documentum and then EMC (via acquisition) and held a variety of leadership positions including Chief Marketing Officer of the Information Intelligence division at EMC (now called the Enterprise Content Division), Worldwide Vice President of Product Marketing, and General Manager of two of the organization's most important product lines. Previously, Whitney held a variety of technology and leadership roles at both Sybase and Oracle.
Whitney will continue to serve as an advisor to many startups and accelerators, and sits on the board of Whitepages in Seattle, WA. As an investor in two popular San Francisco restaurants in addition to authoring Whit’s Kitchen (her food blog), she’s known for her active and passionate involvement in the food community.
Whitney received her B.A. in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Claremont McKenna College. She was recognized in 2015 as one of the World’s 100 Most Innovative CMOs, and was previously recognized with the Silicon Valley Women of Influence award in 2009 and the Top 40 Under 40 award in 2003.
