The One World Doll Project Announces Two New Multi-Cultural Collections, "NYC Girls" & "Dream Babies"
Houston, TX (PRWEB) February 11, 2016 -- The One World Doll Project, an emerging multi-cultural doll company, today announced its plans to add two new doll ranges to its successful Prettie Girls!™ collection, NYC Girls™ and Dream Babies™. The dolls will make their official debut at Toy Fair 2016 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in Manhattan, February 13-16th, and be available for purchase summer 2016 online and fall 2016 in stores.
Prettie Girls!™ NYC features five lovable best friends hailing from across the City, bound together by their commitment to academic achievement, finding fun adventures at every turn and their larger than life aspirations in The Big Apple. A reflection of the New York’s multi-cultural community, the girls together attend “Knickerbocker Leadership Prep” where they are encouraged to study hard, create a vision and find a cause they care about. The 15” dolls come complete with stylish attire that reflects the trendsetting city in which they live. Retail price: $29.95.
The company’s additional new line Prettie Girls!™ Dream Babies also offers facial features and skin tones that reflect the diversity of America’s kids. A child can play the perfect mommy to these little dreamers, with accompanying baby bottle, matching pacifier and diaper bag. The accompanying birth certificate will make it fun and easy for adding her special dream baby to the family. Each 15” doll has a cuddly body, smooth vinyl head and limbs, cute onesie and unique ponytails. Retail price: $24.95.
“This expansion of the Prettie Girls!™ franchise demonstrates our acceptance in the marketplace,” said Trent T. Daniel, Founder of The One World Doll Project. “We are thrilled to be extending the collection with an aspirational high fashion line, while also responding to retailer demand for high quality, diverse baby dolls.”
“The NYC Girls convey the excitement, energy and fashion-forward aesthetic of New York,” said Stacey McBride-Irby, Designer and Co-Founder of The One World Doll Project. “The Dream Babies are our response to a growing awareness of parental needs for beautifully crafted, multi-cultural baby dolls.”
In October 2015, The One World Doll Project launched its Prettie Girls!™ Tween Scene collection at Walmart, the world’s largest retailer, in approximately 3,000 stores across the U.S.
The original Prettie Girls!™, founded in 2010 by Trent T. Daniel and Stacey McBride-Irby, were developed to provide young girls with dolls that appropriately reflect their individual heritages and embrace a values-based standard for the word “pretty,” distinguishing each doll by their own unique goals and aspirations. “Prettie” stands for P(ositve) R(espectful) E(nthusiastic) T(ruthful) T(alented) I(nspiring) E(xcellent).
