Safety is changing: Is your team ready? DEKRA Insight, a global leader in safety at work, today announced registration for the 2016 Safety in Action™ Conference is now open. The conference will take place April 7-9, 2016 in Nashville, TN.

Organizations face a number of challenges in staying safe today: A rapidly changing workforce, the promise of big data, the perils of isolated process safety, and an evolving regulatory environment, just to name a few. The Safety in Action conference offers real–world solutions to these and other critical issues in a dynamic setting of employee teams, safety professionals, and executives.

Engaging breakout sessions and workshops focus on real-world applications of the latest safety thinking. The 2016 event is expected to feature:

  •     Over 200 unique sessions and workshops focused on critical safety issues and actions
  •     Debut of Safety In Action Icons, a unique recognition program highlighting remarkable stories of safety
  •     Over 80 sites sharing lessons and expertise at the Showcase.

Nominations for Safety in Action Icons can be submitted online at safetyinaction.com/icons. The nomination deadline is March 16, 2016.
