Africa is a rapidly changing continent where socio-economic and environmental challenges are to be faced. Communication is also changing with a real impact on people’s lives.

MWH Global, an engineering, consulting and construction firm focused on water and natural resources, today launched Now How Africa (http://www.nowhow.international), an online thought leadership magazine with stories and articles surrounding the topics of energy and sustainability primarily focused on the African continent. Optimized for viewing on mobile devices and with an innovative visual interface, Now How is an online media platform aiming to provide interesting insights and viewpoints from a network of international experts in the fields of renewable energies, hydropower, natural resources, power grids, and capacity building.

The magazine is a publishing project by MWH and was originally launched in Italy in 2014 (http://www.nowhow.it). It is aimed at a diversified audience, ranging from trade specialists, to policy makers and, more broadly, to individuals that are interested in the health of our planet and its natural resources.

Nowhow.international will include articles on geopolitical strategies, economic progress, demographic growth, social conflicts, natural resources threats and opportunities, historical heritage, climate change and technological innovations. All pieces of the transformation of Africa into the promising and blossoming region that most analysts see today.

For Now How, MWH plays the role of editor and looks for interesting content from Africa and around the globe to share with readers. Stories will not focus directly on MWH. Or at all. Instead, content is contributed by a network of international experts and professional journalists, offering readers a “meeting point” where current trends and future perspectives are shared and discussed.

Stefano Susani, MWH Europe-Africa Regional Director for Energy, Industry and Natural Resources said: "Africa is a rapidly changing continent where socio-economic and environmental challenges are to be faced. Communication is also changing with a real impact on people’s lives. The ways people consume information are taking new directions every day. We as an organization are connected to so many people around the world with great stories to tell. Our aspiration is to use Now How as a sharing platform for these stories and for our stakeholders.”
