2015 Sales Growth Outpaces Firearms Industry and Exceeds Company Expectations. Company logs 5th Consecutive Year of Record Sales

New London Arms achieved record sales growth by a laser like focus on the customer experience and being THE Premium firearms retailer in the Southeast

New London Arms Company (NLA) reported that 2015 sales increased in excess of 300 percent over 2014. NLA stated the growth was primarily due to sales of premium grade Sport and Hunting firearms achieved by filling an underserved industry niche. NLA further stated buyers of premium firearms were motivated to purchase by NLA's outstanding variety of new and pre-owned firearms available in its store or online.

2015 Summary
During 2015, NLA successfully completed a relocation and expansion of its showroom and offices to Uptown Charlotte. NLA is located in the historic Boxer Building and its showroom is open daily with appointments recommended.

The combined strength of new and pre-owned premium firearms sales delivered results that exceeded management expectations and reflect successful implementation of its 2015 growth strategy. With 5 consecutive years of triple digit growth, NLA expects 2016 sales to achieve record levels. Higher revenue in new firearms sales was driven principally by increased sales of Beretta Premium Shotguns combined with a full year of sales of Blaser Shotguns and Rifles. NLA began selling Blaser products in the 4th quarter of 2014. Fiscal 2015 also saw the addition of rifle manufacturers Mauser, Sauer and well known British rifle maker John Rigby & Co. In mid 2015, NLA added Rizzini premium shotguns to its portfolio of fine Italian shogun brands.

The pre-owned business delivered outstanding sales results and margins and allows NLA to forge additional opportunities with existing customers, increase visibility in the market and open doors to new buyers throughout the U.S. and Canada. A significant portion of the growth in pre-owned sales is an innovative consignment program. Many sellers of consignment firearms have commission rates exceeding 20%, NLA's program has a low fixed cost plus 5%. Co-owner Stewart McDowell commented "Our unique consignment program ensures owners of premium firearms will likely see a total commission rate of significantly less than 10%. Other sellers have yet to recognize that today's technology no longer justifies the commission rates of the past",

2016 Growth Plans
NLA expects record sales in 2016 although economic and stock market volatility add a layer of uncertainty for the year. NLA added it aims to focus on continued improvement to its customers' experience by improving service, product selection / availability, and online communication in 2016. Website enhancement and increased partnering with its Affiliate network will benefit customers thru expanded product offerings and competitive pricing. Affiliate partners include Orvis, Brownells, OpticsPlanet and Negrini. Upcoming events in 2016 include manufacturer exhibitions and additional 'trunk shows' of featured products in the Southeast.
