RackWare Executives Among Featured Speakers at InterConnect 2016 - The Premier Cloud and Mobile Conference
Fremont, Calif. (PRWEB) February 17, 2016 -- RackWare, Inc., the leader in enabling comprehensive cloud computing management for the enterprise, today announced that CEO Sash Sunkara and Chief Architect Todd Matters will participate as speakers at IBM’s InterConnect 2016 conference, which will take place in Las Vegas, Nev. February 21-25. The focus of this year’s event “OutThink Limits,” is designed to help businesses get the most out of their existing investments with hands-on training in cloud and mobile solutions built for security, powered by cognitive, and equipped with advanced analytics.
On Tuesday, February 23, Sunkara and Matters will be featured speakers in a presentation titled “Using Next-Gen Managed Migration Services for Your Hybrid Cloud.” The session will explain the value of IBM Cloud Automated Modular Management (AMM) migration service using underlying RackWare technology. The session’s agenda will include:
• Migration in Today’s Marketplace
• The Hybrid Cloud and Client Challenges for Migration
• IBM Cloud AMM Managed Migration Services
• Additional RackWare Capabilities
The slides for the session are available on SlideShare: http://bit.ly/1KSJjkG
InterConnect 2016 will also feature a hands-on workshop, “Cloud Migration: Self-Service and Managed” on Wednesday, Feb 24. This lab will let participants experience how easy it is to migrate workloads into SoftLayer using RackWare’s technology by actually using the self-service portal to migrate sample workloads into SoftLayer.
“Seventy percent of enterprises are using cloud computing, and that number is sure to rise as more businesses discover the benefits of moving to the cloud, including lower capital and operating costs for data centers and improved application performance and resiliency,” said Sash Sunakara, RackWare’s CEO. “Most businesses that migrate to the cloud do so in a hybrid model, keeping certain key elements of their infrastructure in-house and under their direct control, while outsourcing less sensitive or core components. Integrating internal and external infrastructures can be a technical quagmire. RackWare addresses these challenges by delivering comprehensive cloud computing management for the enterprise, making cloud migration much easier, more seamless, scalable, flexible and cost effective.”
“Through RackWare’s integrated partnership with IBM SoftLayer, we offer a fully automated tool. There’s no agent required on the source or target server and no additional software required to be installed on servers. RackWare’s sync options increase flexibility as well reduce the cut-over window,” added Matters. “In short, RackWare’s cloud migration solution provides enterprises with a powerful foundation to build a truly cognitive, customer-driven digital enterprise that can scale and transform their business.”
