Love to Find a Cure Event Returns to Minneapolis For Ninth Straight Year to Benefit the Lymphoma Research Foundation
Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) February 16, 2016 -- The Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF) – the nation’s largest non-profit organization devoted exclusively to funding innovative lymphoma research and serving the lymphoma community through a comprehensive series of education programs, outreach initiatives and patient services – is set to host its 9th Annual Love to Find a Cure Restaurant Revue at the Depot in downtown Minneapolis on March 3, 2016.
Each year, the Love to Find a Cure Restaurant Revue brings together the biggest names in the Minneapolis food scene to support LRF in its mission to eradicate lymphoma and serve those touched by the disease. This year’s festivities will be hosted at the Depot, located in the Historic Mill and Riverfront Districts in downtown Minneapolis.
“Anytime you can gather this many great chefs together at one time, it’s really remarkable, and to be able to do it for the benefit of such an impactful organization such as the Lymphoma Research Foundation makes the night truly one of a kind,” said Jennifer Carlson, Benefit Committee member and this year's Inspiration Award recipient.
Now in its ninth year, this year’s event will feature food from top Twin Cities chefs and restaurants, an awards ceremony, and one of a kind live and silent auction prizes.
“We are thrilled to be returning to Minneapolis for what has truly become a hallmark event for the Lymphoma Research Foundation over the last nine years,” said Dr. Thomas M. Habermann, Chair of the Mayo Clinic Lymphoma Group and incoming Chair of the LRF Scientific Advisory Board. “We thank not only the Depot and our Benefit Committee for their continued generosity in hosting this event, but also to all of these world-class chefs for sharing their gift in support of the innovative research supported by LRF. We'd also like to thank all of the generous patients, family members and friends who have been so supportive over the years."
This year’s participating restaurants include:
• The Blue Door Pub
• BRIE Cater
