“I Shouldn’t be Alive to Write This Book”: Coincidence or Divine Intervention?
ROCHESTER, MN (PRWEB) February 18, 2016 -- With the unending violence and political unrest experienced on a daily basis, the world begins to feel like a dark and scary place. There are stories, however, such as author Bill Fisher’s that shed light and bring hope in what can seem like a hopeless time.
In his new book, “When God Stepped In,” author Bill Fisher reflects on the 51 true encounters where he has experienced miraculous acts of the Lord. Fisher recovered from a devastating car accident, leaving him severely wounded and killing his wife, Yvonne. For many this would be a faith shaking experience, but for Fisher it only proved to strengthen his faith.
After leaving the scene of his car accident, Fisher realized his life had been spared from death not once, but nine times. “When God Stepped In” is made up of stand-alone narratives in which Fisher details how his life has been punctuated with a series of miraculous acts such as his life being spared from death, healed in medically verifiable ways and rescued from danger.
“These true stories tell how God has allowed me to get into various dangerous situations, and proceeded to shield me in spectacular ways,” said Fisher. “Adventure has also showed up in other forms when my prayers have been answered in unexpected, dramatic ways.”
Bill Fisher came to faith at a young age. It was in his late teens and early adult years when Fisher began to seek tangible evidence about the Bible itself. Through his search Fisher received verification through archeological studies and firsthand miraculous experiences.
“When God Stepped In” provides encouragement for people in all stations of life as readers can draw insight from the various experiences found in Fisher’s journey.
