Bowhunter Ed Goes International with Launch of New Zealand Online Course by Kalkomey
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) February 18, 2016 -- New Zealand residents can now learn more about bowhunting from the comfort of home thanks to the launch of a new online bowhunter safety course at http://www.bowhunter-ed.com/newzealand.
Bowhunter Ed, which is the official online course of the National Bowhunter Education Foundation, teaches safe in-the-field practices, bow shooting basics, methods of bowhunting, shot placement, and game recovery techniques.
“We’re thrilled to work with our colleagues in New Zealand to offer students a more complete and safer bowhunting experience,” said Mitch Strobl, Vice President of Business Development at Kalkomey. “We take course integrity seriously. That’s why we invest so heavily in award-winning videos, animations, narration, and other interactive components for our courses. All of these pieces work together to deliver a quality educational experience.”
The course, produced by Kalkomey Enterprises, LLC in cooperation with the National Bowhunter Education Foundation, is the first international bowhunting course produced by the company. Kalkomey also offers online outdoor education for boaters, hunters, off-road riders, and snowmobile enthusiasts in the United States and Canada.
Though bowhunter education is not required in New Zealand, this online course will make it easier for aspiring or experienced hunters to learn how to be safer and more successful in the field.
“Bowhunting is a challenging sport, requiring a hunter to be more patient, utilize new and different skills, and better learn the anatomy and behavior of game,” said Carol Watson, Councillor for the Game Animal Council of New Zealand. “It is our hope that New Zealand bowhunters who take this course will both get more out of the sport and improve the safety of bowhunting for everyone.”
The online course allows students to study online for free, paying only when they pass the course. Bowhunter Ed is mobile-friendly, so a course can completed on a smartphone, tablet, laptop, or other device. The New Zealand bowhunter course also includes professionally produced video, detailed illustrations and animations, and easy-to-understand information.
