After 10 Years, Courage Worldwide Gets a Makeover
(PRWEB) February 22, 2016 -- “We are changing the world, one individual at a time.” - Jenny Williamson, author of the book Do You Have the Courage to Be You?
Courage Worldwide (formerly Courage to Be You, Inc.) is an international, 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization founded in 2005 simply to help people find their God-given purpose. Then in 2007, a focus was given to building homes for children rescued from sex trafficking so they, too, had resources and the opportunity to be and do all they were created to be and do.
“Courage Worldwide is ten years old and we are getting a new look! In June of 2005, I started a non-profit organization to help people find their purpose. That organization was called Courage To Be You, Inc. (C2BU). Then in 2007, my heart was broken for children who had been trafficked and sold for sex. I began to wonder—Who were they created to be? What were they created to do? I realized for them to ever discover their true identity and destiny, someone would need to rescue them; someone would need to love and protect them; someone would need to build them homes and call them family. Our new logo, with the shield, the heart, and the house, symbolizes that desire,” says founder, Jenny Williamson.
On top of a new logo, Courage Worldwide is also set for a website makeover towards the end of February.
According to Courage Worldwide, the issue of child sex trafficking is global and growing. It is their passion and vision to build Courage Houses in every city around the world that needs one, so rescued children will have a safe place to call home. With locations open in Northern California and Tanzania, Courage Worldwide is committed to not only rescuing child victims of sex trafficking, but also to restoring their lives. Courage Worldwide is proud that their new website and logo reflect their comprehensive program and global reach.
