Cal Net Technology Group Appoints Gavin Zimmer Vice President of Sales
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) February 22, 2016 -- Mr. Zimmer brings to the table over 20 years of sales experience with 10 years spent in senior management roles. Prior to joining the Cal Net Team, Mr. Zimmer spent 5 years as President and VP of Sales and Operations at CSEC Solutions, a company he founded from the start-up phase. Mr. Zimmer played an integral role in the conception, development and launch of the custom security and automation integrator, awarded by CE PRO as one of the top 200 custom integrators in the country. Prior, Mr. Zimmer transformed sales as the highest ranked sales executive year over year at Dictaphone, a market leader in the commercial voice recording, healthcare software solutions, natural language processing, and data management industry.
Mr. Zimmer joined Cal Net Technology group in 2008 as Manager of Business Development, where he was responsible for developing a proactive sales and consulting department to grow new monthly recurring revenue. He was promoted to Director of Business development in 2012. While in his role on the sales team, Gavin helped grow Cal Net’s Revenue over 289%, developing and leading industry specific IT support service sales executives, and IT infrastructure subject matter experts in areas of Storage & Business Continuity, Unified Communications, Cloud Services, Content Management and Collaboration, Networking, and Security.
As Vice President of Sales, Mr. Zimmer will be responsible for establishing strategic sales plans and targets to align with the overall company objectives. In this new role as the executive leader of Cal Net’s sales team, Mr. Zimmer will be chartered with creating a culture of success that will motivate the sales team and maximize their potential to continue to drive strong growth for the organization.
