Lisa Jackson Brings Education, Philanthropy and Policy Experience to KnowledgeWorks Board
Cincinnati, Ohio (PRWEB) February 19, 2016 -- Long time education advocate, Lisa Jackson was appointed to the KnowledgeWorks board of directors, the organization announced today.
Jackson currently serves as co-founder and managing director of the College for Social Innovation, which is a Boston-based nonprofit that works to build a bigger, better and more diverse talent pipeline for social change by providing opportunities for college students to earn credit for fellowships in the social sector.
“With experience shaping education pathways for all students, Lisa brings a wealth of experience in education, policy influence and philanthropy,” KnowledgeWorks President and CEO Judy Peppler said. “Her experience and perspective will be instrumental in guiding the strategic focus on KnowledgeWorks.”
With an impressive and diverse background, Jackson also brings knowledge in venture philanthropy, nonprofit managing and consulting, data-driven philanthropy, program evaluation, policy research and teaching experience.

The KnowledgeWorks board of directors is the most recent for Jackson, who also serves on Year Up, College Advising Corp. and The Reset Foundation. She is also a School Committee member for the Public Schools of Brookline, Mass., where she and her family live.
