Still With You Memorial Statue Media Premiere Comforts Beyond Capacity Crowds
Salt Lake City, UT (PRWEB) February 23, 2016 -- Kristen Lamb, founder of Still With You.com designers/artisans of hand-made remembrance and memorial statues for those who have lost loved ones, announced their “Forever Connected Media Grand Premier” honoring memorial recipients and Still With You statue unveiling, met with great success on February 18th at Pierpont Place in Salt Lake City, UT.
Still With You offers over 40 specialized handcrafted high quality cold-cast bronze and acrylic sympathy statues memorializing the love, pain, journey and healing from loss, unveiled film vignettes of the new statues as part of the Still With You mission to comfort and honor those who have lost loved ones.
“I designed the Still With You statues to bridge that intense emotional gap between the pain left in our hearts when a loved one passes and that mortal part of who we are. The statues give a tangible reminder of the strong connection we still have with our loved ones,” said Kristen Patey Lamb, who began designing statues as a form of artistic “therapy” following her husband Rob’s tragic death in a plane crash. “At the Forever Connected Media Grand Premier we unveiled our statues through beautifully produced media vignettes that share personal stories of comfort, remembrance and healing.”
The Forever Connected Media Grand Premier event was produced, directed and co-hosted by Paul Cactus Jack Le Mar, founder of Life According to Cactus Productions. He also produced each of the six video vignettes screened at the event, bringing heartfelt tears and generous applause from the supportive audience.
As a part of Still With You’s ethos in giving back to the community, Kristen Lamb and Paul Cactus Jack Le Mar surprised many special guests who have suffered the loss of a loved one with statues, assisted by guest presenters. Presenters included celebrity makeup artist and humanitarian Tara Starling, author and scriptwriter Shelley Bingham Husk, co-founders of Care Cuts Marco Diaz and Sarah Marsing Franklin, SiriusXM Radio Host, Kim Power Stilson and Army Chaplain Major Brent Duncan, who garnered a standing ovation for the presentation in remembrance of PFC Medic Cody Towse.
An additional special appearance by KSL News anchor Dave McCann as he and Jonathan Johnson honored Stan Lockhart, husband of recently passed Rebecca Lockhart, Speaker of the Utah House of Representatives.
“Grief is a lonely journey. Finding those who understand and who are on the same journey makes things less lonely,” said Stan Lockhart.
In a generous finale of the night, Mrs. Lamb surprised Marked Generations founder Brooke Christison Cox with a generous donation to aid her efforts in the grief recovery for children, youth and young adults. To find out more about Marked Generation, go to http://www.markedgeneration.org.
“Response to the figures often consists of tears and a story, as we’ve all lost someone,” said Kristen. “The Forever Connected Media Grand Premier was a great success because it connected hearts and fostered healing.” The full line of statues are available on StillWithYou.com.
