Firo Pizza, a fire-kissed, artisan pizza and homemade gelato concept that offers high-quality products and experience at an affordable price, has announced a winner for their design your own pizza contest.
Founder and owner Matt Jones, launched Firo Fire Kissed Pizza’s first-ever pizza recipe contest. Each week a qualified winner was selected to become a finalist for Firo Pizza’s grand prize and the community was asked to vote for their favorite pizza.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled with the turnout and the amount of people who participated with recipes and even with voting. This contest really exceeded our expectations and we look forward to working with the community and having more as the year progresses,” Jones said.
Grand prize winner Ashley Valentine won the contest with her pizza ingredients of red sauce, garlic, fresh mozzarella, chicken, prosciutto, bacon, feta, and spinach. Ashley’s creation will be added as specialty pizza for the rest of this month.
“Ashley’s pizza is gaining popularity at the store, and we love having the opportunity to see what flavors our customers really like,” Jones said. “We hope contests like this one encourage the Lawton community to get involved with events at Firo Pizza.”
Recently, Firo Fire Kissed Pizza celebrated their one-year anniversary. Over the duration of their first year, they have maintained the tradition of keeping customers involved and engaged with various other contests, including a weekly gelato selfie contest and #MondayMasterpiece photo contest. They’ve also drawn customers by offering free Wi-Fi for students in the Lawton community.
