New Hires to Build on Strong Growth in North America and Europe

Bobby and Arun collectively bring a deep knowledge of SaaS sales and operations to Freshdesk that will be instrumental in cementing Freshdesk’s leadership position.

Freshdesk, the global leader in cloud-based customer support software, announced today the appointment of two sales executives to the company. Bobby Jaffari joins as Vice President of Sales, Freshdesk North America and Arun Mani joins as Managing Director, Freshdesk Continental Europe. The company has experienced tremendous growth in the midmarket segment of its business in recent years. The new hires bring experience leading successful high-growth SaaS sales organizations and will be focused on scaling Freshdesk’s midmarket business in North America and Europe.

As the Vice President of Sales in North America, Bobby will be responsible for scaling Freshdesk’s midmarket business. Bobby previously held sales leadership roles at Satmetrix Systems, Hightail and Cisco WebEx. He was a key contributor to WebEx's explosive growth from $50M in revenue through the $3.2B Cisco acquisition and led the midmarket and enterprise teams at Hightail to 3x revenue growth.

Arun Mani will grow Freshdesk’s midmarket business in Europe. At AppNexus, he built and scaled a global sales team growing revenue of their core network business by 5x in 3 years. Prior to AppNexus, Arun worked at McKinsey & Company and Accenture, managing client relationships and advising C-level executives on growth strategies and sales enablement.
