Base2Digital expands and opens a new London office

Dublin-based digital search marketing agency Base2Digital, which specialises in SEO and PPC, has announced it is expanding with a new office in the heart of London despite looming "Brexit" decision.

It seemed a natural progression and basic common sense for us to have a base in the UK as well as in Dublin, where we have already done very well!

Dublin-based digital search marketing agency Base2Digital (http://www.base2digital.com), which specialises in SEO and PPC, has announced it is expanding with a new office in the heart of London despite looming "Brexit" decision.

Recent client acquisitions which include outdoor retailer Basecamp (http://www.basecamp.ie) and Irish merchandise seller Irish Shop (http://www.irishshop.com), have paved the way for this expansion, as have other extensions of the company’s services into European and US markets.

The companies London operation, will allow Base2Digital to offer its portfolio of big brand digital marketing services to small and medium-sized enterprises across the UK’s capital and beyond from its new headquarters in the city.

The company is already a key part of a digital hub in the Irish capital, where it is at the heart of a thriving and growing tech community. Now it aims to replicate that success in London.

Base2Digital founder and director Ian Nunoo points out that the time felt right for expansion into the UK, particularly in light of one recent major Google change. This means that almost all ads are being removed from the right-hand side of desktop search results, and being replaced at the bottom or top of the page. The only exceptions to this are Product Listing Ad boxes showing above or at the right of search results, and adverts in the Knowledge Panel.

The dramatic move from the search giant makes mobile and desktop search results more similar to each other, and affects all desktop searches globally, making it more important than ever that businesses have the right advice about being found online,
Ian Nunoo adds: “The creation of a London base marks an exciting time in our evolution. We love working with our SME clients, and although bidding effectively with Pay Per Click may seem a challenge, we are confident enough in what we do that we know we can still use PPC for our clients with great returns.

The agency’s new London home is just two minutes’ walk from Tottenham Court Road tube station in Camden’s Fitzrovia. With a number of other tech and digital companies in the area, and the whole of the city on the doorstep, Base2Digital is joining one of central London’s busiest tech communities.
