Puppyhood is a joyous time for pet parents, but it can also be fraught with unforeseen challenges. To cater to the specialized needs of puppies and to provide support during their critical stages of growth and development, Morris Animal Inn luxury spa and resort announces new daycare, lodging, grooming and training services specially designed to pamper and help pups reach their full potential.

Beginning with puppies as young as eight weeks of age, Morris Animal Inn’s puppy programs provide exercise, enrichment, socialization, foundations of obedience, luxury lodging and an abundance of love and attention by trained professionals in a fun and structured environment. Morris Animal Inn is also offering complimentary “Puppy Primping” sessions in its grooming salon and spa.

Puppy Daycare in Customized Puppy Nursery
Puppies’ routine-based days of fun, learning and love include: socialization and play time, foundations of obedience and introduction to leash walking, frequent housetraining breaks, meal service, graduation celebration and a plan for transition to regular daycare. Full and half-day options are available for puppies ages eight to 20 weeks old.

Puppy Steps Overnight Lodging and Activities
Puppies require special care and nurturing as overnight lodging guests. To meet those essential needs, Morris Animal Inn combines luxury lodging with activities to reinforce housetraining, encourage play and provide ultimate comfort. Program includes: individualized pampered pet sessions, weekly growth checks, daily grooming, bizzy bone treat and meal service. Full vaccines must be completed prior to lodging. Available to dogs up to seven months.

Puppy Primping --Complimentary
Morris Animal Inn’s Grooming Salon & Spa offers free Puppy Primping to introduce pups to a gentle and enjoyable canine spa experience. Puppies are pampered by our grooming staff who provide: bathing, nail trimming, paw massage, brushing, ear cleaning, cologne spritz and bandanas or bows. Introducing puppies to the grooming process at a young age helps them grow into dogs who become comfortable being handled and groomed. Offered one time to puppies five months of age or younger.

Puppy Training Sessions
Utilizing age-appropriate, positive reinforcement techniques, Morris Animal Inn’s trainers work with overnight lodging puppies to reinforce basic manners. Training includes a variety of learned behaviors including: sit, come, leash manners and more. A well-trained puppy sets the foundation for training into adolescence and adulthood for a well-mannered family member and a canine companion who can be taken anywhere. Available to pups up to seven months.
