RampShot, the next big thing in outdoor lawn games, is now available at select retailers nationwide. Launched in 2014, RampShot is the only backyard game that allows players to score points by both tossing and catching, and its accessibility, packability, and overall fun factor makes it perfect for friends and family of all ages and skills sets.
Created by friends Josh Bonventre and Kevin Texeira, RampShot was a success from the outset, first receiving funding from A&E Project Startup and then completing a successful crowdfunding campaign. “We wanted to create a game that is completely original,” said Bonventre. “We’ve been friends and softball teammates for a long time, and since I am a physical education teacher, I enjoy inspiring others to get active and have fun doing it. After assigning my students a project in which they invented their own original games, I decided to participate alongside of them, and RampShot was the outcome. Really, I wanted to build an experience that is designed to keep everyone, from kids to grandparents, in the game and in the action, and we think RampShot is the perfect game for the whole family.”
RampShot is a four player game that utilizes two specially designed ramps and four bouncy balls the size of a racquetball. Players score points with a partner by tossing a ball in the ramp’s net or by catching a ball that bounces off the ramp.
