Nominate a High School Senior for GJEL TransForm College Scholarship
Orinda, CA (PRWEB) February 26, 2016 -- California personal injury firm Gillin, Jacobson, Ellis, Larsen, and Lucey (“GJEL”) is partnering with TransForm, a nonprofit transportation advocacy group, to offer college scholarships for graduating seniors who have shown exemplary leadership in San Francisco Bay Area communities.
The first annual GJEL TransForm California Community Involvement Scholarship will recognize students who have balanced academic achievement with a commitment to volunteer service or activism within the community. GJEL will provide two scholarship recipients with $2,500 awards for college tuition and other education-related expenses.
Applications are due on Friday, April 22.
“GJEL proudly supports young leaders through our summer Intro to Careers in Law Program and our existing Mock Trial Scholarship,” said Managing Partner Andy Gillin. “The Community Involvement Scholarship gives us one more way help make a positive impact on our community.”
