Martin Foos of Faruki Ireland & Cox Founds Ohio Civil Justice Reform Task Force
DAYTON, OHIO (PRWEB) February 26, 2016 -- Faruki Ireland & Cox (http://www.ficlaw.com) partner Marty Foos, along with Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas Judge Michael Krumholtz and President of Green & Green Lawyers Tom Green, has founded the Ohio Civil Justice Reform Task Force.
The Task Force consists of 23 attorneys and judges from across the state of Ohio, who will consider rule changes that would reduce the time and expense required to litigate civil cases in Ohio's courts. Foos will chair the first in-person meeting of the Task Force in March at the Ohio Supreme Court building.
Foos is currently serving as Chair of the Ohio State Bar Association Litigation Section Council, where he oversees all activities of the Litigation Section, including its publications, presentations, participation at the OSBA convention, sponsorship of awards, and its comments and input on rules and legislation affecting litigation concerns. The Section formed the Task Force at the request of Ohio State Bar Association President John D. Holschuh, Esq.
Foos’ practice focuses on complex commercial litigation. He handles informational privacy matters, securities cases, intellectual property litigation, class action defense, and business competition matters.
