Savills Studley Represents Rags of Honor in Headquarters Relocation and Expansion
(PRWEB) February 25, 2016 -- Savills Studley advised Rags of Honor in the search of its new headquarters and manufacturing plant at 3435 N. Kimball Ave. The custom silk screen and apparel company devoted to hiring homeless and unemployed veterans, moved into approximately 15,000 square feet of space in its new headquarters, relocating from Fulton Market where it had resided since opening in 2013.
Senior Vice President and Co-Head of the Savills Studley Chicago office Eric Feinberg, along with Bruce McConnell and Mike Mangan of the firm’s Industrial Services Group represented Rags of Honor in the transaction; Brian Ripp with Strauss Realty represented the landlord.
“With ongoing commitment to social responsibility and community service, Savills Studley was inspired to represent Rags of Honor, supporting a cause we whole-heartedly believe in,” said Feinberg. “Together, we helped Rags of Honor find a new location that will help further its mission and overall business objectives,” Mangan added.
Through an influx of funding from generous investors, Rags of Honor will be able to hire more homeless veterans and more than double its headcount from seven to 15 last year. It plans to hire an additional 60 plus veterans in 2016.
“Our new location allows us to increase our manufacturing and employ even more veterans in need, said Mark Doyle, founder of Rags of Honor. “For a business that began in my car to have experienced such rapid success and growth, while helping our nation’s true heroes, is a dream come true and we look forward to our continued success in our new location.”

About Rags of Honor
Rags of Honor was created with the mission that all homeless veterans can regain their lives if given the stability and dignity of a good-paying job as a starting point. Mark Doyle, the founder and CEO of the company saw firsthand the sacrifice of servicemen and women in Afghanistan. He was sickened by the injustice of homeless veterans in Chicago and chose to make a difference. In response, Doyle created Rags of Honor as the only silk screen shop that is 100% operated by homeless and unemployed veterans with the mission to provide them with an opportunity to rebuild their lives after serving in the U.S. military. The main office of Rags of Honor is in Chicago, Illinois where they also operate their manufacturing facility and warehouse.
