Celebrating New Officers of Turner Construction Company
New York, New York (PRWEB) February 25, 2016 -- Turner Construction Company is pleased to announce that Mike Bruskin, David Duffy, Dan Kahn, Dan McGuckin and Chris Verbeek have been promoted to vice president, effective February 1, 2016.
Mike Bruskin is now serving as vice president and director of procurement.
Mike joined Turner’s Connecticut office in 1987 as a field engineer, also serving as a cost engineer and an assistant engineer before his promotion to project engineer in 1994. As a project engineer, he worked primarily in Connecticut’s Main division, serving briefly as a project engineer for the Special Projects Division, until his transfer to procurement in 2004, where he served for a year before earning a promotion to procurement manager in 2005. In 2013 he was named director of procurement for the company, his most recent role.
David Duffy is now serving as vice president and construction executive in the Federal Services Group.
David joined Turner’s Boston office in 1986 as a field engineer, a role he served in until his transfer to the Washington, DC office in 1990, where he accepted an assignment as an assistant superintendent. He was promoted to superintendent in 1993, and project manager in 1999. In 2003 he was promoted to senior project manager. Two years later he was named project executive and, in 2015, he was named construction executive for Federal Services Group, his most recent role.
Dan Kahn is now serving as vice president and construction executive in the Seattle office.
Dan joined Turner’s Seattle office in 1989 as a field engineer. In 1991 he moved to the Special Projects Division as a project manager, serving in that role until his promotion to project engineer at the World Trade Center project in 1996. In 1999, Dan was promoted to project manager for Main, and worked on the Seattle Waterfront Marriot project. In 2003, he transitioned into the role of business development manager and in 2007 he accepted an assignment as manager of preconstruction services, a role he served in until 2010 when he was named construction executive, his most recent role.
Dan McGuckin is now serving as vice president and construction executive in the Southwest.
Dan joined Turner’s Los Angeles office in 1982 as an assistant engineer, and served as an engineer and a superintendent in Los Angeles until his transfer in 1989 to San Diego, where he accepted an assignment as a project engineer. In 1994 he transferred to Arizona working as a project manager. He transferred back to San Diego in 1999. Dan was promoted to senior project manager in 2005 and project executive in 2006. He was named operations manager of the San Diego office in 2013 and in 2015 he was named construction executive, his most recent role.
Chris Verbeek is now serving as vice president and director of corporate development.
Chris joined Turner in 2010 as a senior project manager in the corporate development group. He has worked on the acquisition of New York-based EE Cruz and the purchase of a majority share in Edmonton, Alberta-based Clark Builders. In 2013, he was promoted to director of corporate development, his most recent role.
