PedalPub® Celebrates 10 Years and 100 Party Bikes
Minneapolis, MINN (PRWEB) February 26, 2016 -- The PedalPub® proudly announced the celebration of their 10th Year Anniversary, which coincides with the sale of their 100th Party Bike. High Five Pedal Tours in Ann Arbor Michigan was the affiliate that acquired the milestone bike. PedalPub® conducts party bike tours in areas of Minneapolis and Saint Paul, MN, and St. Petersburg, FL.
In 2006, after learning about the existence of a party bike, a pedal powered custom crafted bike that can accommodate 16 riders and a driver, fellow home brewers Eric Olson and Al Boyce were intrigued. They travelled to the Netherlands that year to meet with the manufacturers of the bikes, and secured the rights to import the bikes and sell them in the US, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central America.
Since then, PedalPub® LLC has helped 39 party bike businesses grow throughout the country, while growing their own party bike fleet in the Twin Cities. They are oldest party bike business in the United States with Minneapolis (the founders’ home town) being the first North American city to have a party bike on its streets.
Managing Partner Eric Olson stated, “We built the PedalPub® business with the mission to provide a fun, safe, environmentally-friendly way for groups of eight to sixteen adults to get some light exercise and fresh air while touring interesting parts of town on a big Dutch-made bike.” He continued, “We actively partner with local businesses and non-profits interested in bike safety, the environment, and fun!”
The PedalPub® is an environmentally friendly mode of transportation, and the business prides itself on supporting the local communities it operates in, especially in the way of charitable donations. To date the company has given away hundreds of hours of tours to charitable organizations in the Twin Cities, as well as cash donations to organizations such as Nice Ride Minnesota (http://www.niceridemn.org) a bike sharing charity.
