Chris began her career in media at J.Walter Thompson in 1993 and worked her way up the ladder to become a Partner and Regional Broadcast Supervisor, responsible for managing and training new Media Buyers to become expert negotiators. She also maintained the title of Senior Media Buyer and handled $40,000,000 annual TV and Radio budget for clients such as SF Ford, CA State Lottery, 20 C Fox, Safeway, Domino's Pizza, Weight Watchers, Warner Lambert and many others in the San Francisco market. Chris was the recipient of "Best Local Buyer" and "Best National Buyer" many times over the course of her career at JWT.
In late 2002, Chris moved over to the Direct Response (DR) side of Media as the Media Director at RW Lynch, where she continued to work through 2015. At RWL, she handled budgets of $2-4 Million annually for over 50 different markets in the US, placing DR locally and nationally for RWL's Personal Injury Attorney group advertising model.
She is skilled in purchasing local spot markets as well as national network tv, syndication, unwired networks, cable networks and per inquiry advertising. In addition to traditional "offline" advertising expertise and DR, Chris also brings experience with Paid Programming, long and short form DR, Per Inquiry DR advertising and scheduling live in-show appearances for clients looking to maximize leads using a strong CTA.
Chris graduated from UCSB with a BA in Business Economics. When she isn't engrossed in negotiating all types of media, Chris enjoys triathlon racing (she is also a Tri coach and swim instructor), snowboarding, reading, movies and of course, her three beautiful children.
