Jetpack (http://jetpack.net) today announced it has expanded operations with the opening of a New York office and the appointment of Jeremy Carlin to the newly created position of vice president, business development.
Most recently, Mr. Carlin was director of sales at Sizmek, where he specialized in solutions for publishers. He was previously sales development manager, publisher solutions at Innovid and earlier served as manager, sales development at Videology.
In his new post, Mr. Carlin will lead Jetpack’s east coast operations and introduce its high-impact, mobile and native advertising solutions to new partners while building upon its strong relationships with existing clients such as Time, Inc. and Wenner Media.
“Jeremy's deep understanding of the advertising landscape and longstanding career servicing the publisher community make him the ideal choice to broaden our New York presence,” said Chris Tragos, co-founder, business development and operations at Jetpack.
Mr. Carlin’s career experience also includes programmatic, mobile marketing, native advertising and content aggregation, further qualifying him to help lead Jetpack’s expansion.
Jetpack was started in 2009 by a veteran team of web publishing experts and the co-founders of BuzzMedia (now Spin Media). Based on their own experience, they set out to build an innovative ad platform to help publishers easily and quickly create and deliver highly viewable and engaging advertising across every screen.
