The DZAP Group announced that Steven Ozbun, former Vice President and Managing Partner of DZAP and LeaseLabs® has been elected as President of the organization. With Ozbun’s promotion comes a big shift in organization for the company, as his strategic vision will now guide all departments.
Ozbun’s role in the company is distinctly more pronounced, with direct oversight of the AVP | Business Development, AVP | Technology, and Director of Client Services. His increased influence with these teams comes after guiding them through new improvements to product development, strategy, and new technology while overseeing a period of growth with the company.
Ozbun’s role in the company has increased alongside his visibility within the industry. This past year, he also spoke at the NAA Student Housing Conference on geofencing technology, and was a speaker at the Apartment Internet Marketing Conference sharing expertise on drip marketing, retargeting, social boosting, and geo-targeting.

Steven Ozbun joined The DZAP Group in 2007, and helped launch the LeaseLabs® brand in 2008 by spearheading Business Development nationwide and the corresponding marketing efforts that helped make this brand such a success. With a natural instinct for marketing and tremendous interpersonal skills, Ozbun quickly cemented himself as an irreplaceable part of The DZAP Group.
Ozbun was made the National Director of Account Development after developing the LeaseLabs® brand, working alongside leadership, business development, and product development to carefully curate the perfect products for digital marketing for apartments. In 2013, Ozbun became Vice President and Managing Partner as Zeff and Ozbun worked closely to acquire full ownership of the marketing agency.
Since acquiring full ownership of the agency, Zeff and Ozbun have overseen revenue growth from $3.7 million annually to $9 million in 2015. They are projecting $13 million in 2016, a 250% revenue growth from 2012. The group has been recognized five years consecutively for the best website design from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), and has been on Inc.com’s coveted list of the Top 5,000 fastest growing privately owned companies in America for three years running. Capping off 2015, LeaseLabs® cemented a strategic partnership with Lincoln Property Company, the second-largest management company in the multifamily space.
