Hollywood Casino Baton Rouge to Launch Celebrity Chef Series
Baton Rouge, La (PRWEB) March 02, 2016 -- Top-rated television personality and best-selling author Gina Neely will place her cooking skills on display for all to taste at Hollywood Casino Baton Rouge on Saturday, March 19. The 90-minute Eat & Greet is free, open to the public and begins at 2 p.m.
Neely burst onto the scene in 2008 by starring in the hit show “Down Home with the Neelys,” which became the highest rated series debut in the history of Food Network’s “In the Kitchen” block. The show immediately connected with viewers nationwide by showcasing Neely’s love for family, food and the enjoyment of life. Shortly after, she released her first cookbook, “Down Home with the Neelys,” which quickly earned a place on The New York Times bestseller list.
Neely has performed live for thousands of fans all over the country, not only showcasing her skills and fun-loving approach to cooking, but also sharing her perspective on life, love and the challenges facing women in their personal and professional lives.
Neely will kick off Hollywood Casino Baton Rouge’s Celebrity Chef Series as she shares a step-by-step guide to preparing two featured appetizers. Guests can sample the dishes and engage Neely in a question and answer session. She will also meet guests and sign autographs at the conclusion of the program.
A VIP Dinner will follow the 2 p.m. event. Patrons who dine in the Celebrity Grill between now and March 18 will receive an entry into a drawing for two passes to the VIP Dinner featuring Gina Neely and $250 in Slotplay. Drawing will be held March 19 at 3:15 p.m. Winners must be present at the time of the drawing.
