Company Ranked #33 and is Listed as the Top Endpoint Threat Detection Vendor

Ziften today announced it has risen to the top 40 of the Q2 2016 edition of the Cybersecurity 500, a global compilation of leading companies that provide cybersecurity solutions and services. Ranked at #33, Ziften is the top Endpoint Threat Detection vendor named to the Cybersecurity 500 list. Ziften was selected for its award-winning solution that delivers unprecedented insight down to the endpoint and enables organizations to efficiently prevent security exposures and respond to advanced threats.

“Cracking the top 40 of the Cybersecurity 500 is a great achievement for Ziften and speaks to the momentum and growth our company has continued to achieve,” said Charles Leaver, CEO, Ziften. “This recognition will only continue to fuel our desire to better our endpoint detection and response solution to meet the evolving challenges our customers face.”

Ziften’s top 40 ranking marks the company’s highest placement to date in the Cybersecurity 500. Thousands of companies are considered for inclusion in the list and are judged on a selection of criteria that includes cybersecurity sector, problems solved, feedback from CISO’s and decision makers, and company growth. Ziften saw record revenue and customer growth in 2015, has recently announced a key partnership with Blue Coat Systems, and received Representative Vendor status in Gartner’s Market Guide for Endpoint Detection and Response Solutions.

“Ziften is building on their leadership position in the endpoint detection and response sector by forging partnerships with top cyber advisory and services firms, as well as alliances with strategic security vendors,” says Steve Morgan, founder and CEO at Cybersecurity Ventures. “There’s a cybersecurity labor shortage which is a barrier to getting endpoint protection done right. Ziften is singling out cybersecurity professional services firms with the specialized personnel who can effectively implement the endpoint defense that corporations and government agencies are asking for,” adds Morgan.

Ziften’s placement in the Cybersecurity 500 is the latest recognition for the company. Most recently, the company received a Cyber Defense Magazine “Best Endpoint Security Solution” award for 2016 and was named a 2016 InfoSec Global Excellence Award finalist. The company also received a 2015 Red Herring Top 100 North America award, as well as a Computer Technology Review Most Valuable Product (MVP) award.
